Quiet neighborhood, right next to Puerto Juarez. Surrounded by the best local seafood restaurants in Cancun. The Isla Mujeres ferry terminal is within walking distance from here. There is a 24/7 mini market right across the street for the basics and a local market about 6 blocks away.
I recommend renting a car as the best option. In that case, there are many companies at the airport and downtown that offer that service.
Otherwise, you always have the option of requesting a cab that can be requested by the security guards. The prices are very high in the center of the city but, if you go to the hotel zone, they increase.
